Intracin I-TIN (Ivermectin) is a broad-spectrum anti-parasitic injection used in veterinary medicine for the treatment and control of both internal and external parasites.
INDICATIONS
- Gastrointestinal Nematodes (Roundworms): Treatment of adult and immature roundworms.
- Pulmonary Nematodes (Lungworms): Treatment of Dictyocaulus viviparus (both adult and fourth-stage larvae).
- Ectoparasites:Mites (mange), sucking lice, and ticks.
- Other Parasites:Warbles (hypoderma bovis, h. lineatum), eye worms (Thelazia spp.), and skin worms.
ADMINISTRATION
- Route: Subcutaneous injection only.
- Contraindications: Do not use in lactating cows, or within 28 days of calving / 21 days before lambing if milk is for human consumption.
- Withdrawal Period (Meat): Varies by product, typically 21 to 35 days.
