STREPTICILLIN 5g – Procaine Penicillin G + Streptomycin sulfate Injection

Intracin STREPTICILLIN (5g) is a veterinary injectable suspension, specifically a strepto-penicillin formulation designed to treat infections caused by bacteria sensitive to both penicillin and streptomycin.

INDICATIONS

Respiratory Infections: Including pneumonia caused by Mannheimia haemolytica and Pasteurella multocida.
Secondary Bacterial Infections: Such as those involving Klebsiella pneumonia and Staphylococcus spp. (non-penicillinase producing).
Infections of Reproductive and Soft Tissues: Including those caused by Streptococcus spp..
Specific Bacterial Infections: Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae and Listeria spp..
Systemic Infections: It is also used for infections of unknown origin.

ADMINISTRATION

- Route: Intramuscular (I/M) injection.
- Large Animals: 2 mL per 50 kg of body weight.
- Small Animals: 1 mL per 5 kg body weight.

Withdrawal Periods:

Milk: 72 hours.
Meat: 30 day
