Intracin Pizine WS is a water-soluble powder containing Piperazine Citrate, a veterinary anthelmintic used to treat internal nematode (worm) infections in poultry and livestock.
INDICATIONS
- Horses: Infections caused by Strongylus (large strongyles), Oxyuris (pinworms), Trichonema (small strongyles), and Ascaris (roundworms).
- Swine: Infestations of Oesophagostomum (nodular worms) and Ascaris (roundworms).
- Cattle: Infections caused by Ascaris, Nematodirus, Ostertagia, Cooperia, and Oesophagostomum.
- Poultry: Infections caused by Ascaris and Capillaria (roundworms).
ADMINISTRATION
Pizine WS works by causing reversible flaccid paralysis in nematode parasites, which leads to their expulsion from the gut via normal peristalsis. It is administered orally through drinking water.
Withdrawal Period: 2 days for meat and 2 days for eggs.
