Intracin STREPTICILLIN-2.5g injection is used for conditions such as pneumonia, shipping fever, septicaemia, and infections of unknown origin.
INDICATIONS
- Respiratory Infections: Effective against pneumonia and bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, including Mannheimia haemolytica and Pasteurella multocida.
- Soft Tissue & General Infections: Treats infections caused by Staphylococcus spp (non-penicillinase producing), Streptococcus spp, and Arcanobacterium pyogenes.
- Septicemia and Specialized Infections: Indicated for septicemia and infections caused by Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, Klebsiella pneumonia, Listeria spp, and Salmonella spp.
ADMINISTRATION
- Route: Intramuscular (I/M) injection.
- Large Animals: 2 ml per 50 kg of body weight.
- Small Animals: 1 ml per 5 kg body weight.
- Milk: 72 hours.
- Meat: 30 days.
