Intracin Sulfatrim 480 WS is a broad-spectrum, potentiated sulfonamide antimicrobial designed for oral administration to livestock and poultry.
INDICATIONS
- Target Species: Calves, sheep, goats, swine, and poultry.
- Respiratory Tract Infections: Pneumonia, bronchopneumonia, and bacterial infections associated with respiratory diseases (e.g., Pasteurella spp., Haemophilus spp.).
- Gastrointestinal Infections: Bacterial enteritis, diarrhea (scours), and colibacillosis caused by E. coli or Salmonella spp..
- Urogenital Infections: Infections of the urinary tract.
ADMINISTRATION
- Administration: It is administered orally, often dissolved in drinking water, with a typical treatment duration of 4–7 days.
- Withdrawal Periods:
- Meat: 8 days for calves, sheep, goats, and swine; 5 days for poultry.
- Eggs: It is not for use in poultry producing eggs for human consumption
- Restriction: It is typically intended for pre-ruminant calves, lambs, and kids.
