Intracin MICIX is an Amikacin Injection BP 250 mg/ml used for treating serious, often systemic, Gram-negative bacterial infections IN cattle, sheep, goats, and horses.

INDICATIONS

• Systemic infections: Treatment of severe Gram-negative infections in most species.
• Equine Intrauterine Infusion: Approved for use in mares to treat susceptible uterine infections.
• Neonatal and Geriatric infections: Due to its efficacy against resistant bacteria, it is often used for severe, acute infections.

ADMINISTRATION

• Route: Intravenous (IV) or intramuscular (IM) injection.
• Caution: Aminoglycosides should be used with caution in patients with preexisting renal disease, as well as in geriatric or neonatal patients.
