Intracin MELOXIN-I (5 mg/mL meloxicam injection) is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) indicated for cattle, buffalo, horses, sheep, goats, and dogs to treat inflammation, pain, and fever.
INDICATIONS
- Musculoskeletal System: Treatment of arthritis, synovitis, myositis, tendonitis, laminitis, and bursitis.
- Respiratory Infections: Treatment of pneumonia, broncho-pneumonia, and pleuritis.
- Gynaecological Inflammatory Conditions: Treatment of metritis and uterine prolapse.
- Other Conditions: Mastitis, otitis, pharyngitis, and post-operative pain.
- Pyrexia: Treatment of pain and fever associated with inflammation.
- Dogs: Specific indication for controlling pain and inflammation related to osteoarthritis.
ADMINISTRATION
- Cattle, Buffalo, Horse, Sheep & Goat: 1 mL / 10 kg (Respiratory Inflammation & Prolapse); 1 mL / 25 kg (Other Indications).
- Dog: 1 mL / 10 kg.
Withdrawal Period (Intracin):
- Cattle Meat/Offal: 15 days.
- Milk: 5 days.
