Intracin IMOLY 400 WS is a broad-spectrum, water-soluble oxytetracycline oral powder indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal and respiratory infections in livestock and poultry.
INDICATIONS
IMOLY 400 WS is used to treat infections caused by micro-organisms sensitive to oxytetracycline in calves, goats, poultry, sheep, and swine.
- Gastrointestinal Infections: Bacterial enteritis and diarrhea.
- Respiratory Infections: Pneumonia and related infections.
- Specific Organisms: Infections caused by Bordetella, Bacillus, Corynebacterium, Campylobacter, E. coli, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Mycoplasma, Rickettsia, and Chlamydia spp.
ADMINISTRATION
- Administration: Oral via drinking water or drench.
- Species Limitations: Note that this formulation is for pre-ruminant calves, lambs, and kids only.
- Withdrawal Periods (Meat): Calves, sheep, goats, and swine: 8 days; Poultry: 6 days.
Contraindications:
- Do not use in animals with impaired renal or hepatic function.
- Do not administer concurrently with penicillins, cephalosporins, quinolones, or cycloserine.
- Do not use in animals with active microbial digestion.
- Avoid use in animals producing milk or eggs for human consumption.
