Intracin CLOSIN 5% (Closantel Injection 5% w/v) is an anthelmintic and antiparasitic injection designed for the treatment and control of internal and external parasites in cattle and sheep.
INDICATIONS
- Liver Flukes: Treats adult and immature Fasciola spp. (from 6–8 weeks).
- Gastrointestinal Roundworms: Effective against Haemonchus, Ostertagia, Cooperia, Trichostrongylus, and Oesophagostomum species.
- Other Parasites: Controls lungworms (Dictyocaulus viviparus), cattle grubs (Hypoderma), sucking lice, and mange mites.
ADMINISTRATION
- Method: Subcutaneous injection only.
- Dosage: 2 ml per 50 kg of body weight.
- Precaution: Do not use in lactating animals producing milk for human consumption.
- Withdrawal Period: 49 days for meat
