Intracin INITRO Injection (Nitroxynil 34% w/v) is a veterinary anthelmintic indicated for the treatment and control of various parasitic infestations in ruminants and dogs.
INDICATIONS
- Liver Fluke Infestations: Effective against mature and immature Fasciola hepatica and Fasciola gigantica in cattle, sheep, and goats.
- Gastrointestinal Parasitism: Controls infestations caused by Haemonchus, Oesophagostomum, and Bunostomum in cattle, sheep, and goats.
- Oestrus ovis: Treats Oestrus ovis (nasal bot fly) in sheep and camels.
- Hookworms: Indicated for the treatment of hookworms in dogs.
ADMINISTRATION
- Administration: Subcutaneous injection.
- Ruminants/Camels: 1 ml per 35 kg OF body weight (can be increased to 1.25 ml per 35 kg for acute fascioliasis).
- Dogs: 30 ml per 10 kg OF body weight.
- Do not use in animals producing milk for human consumption.
- Withdrawal Times: Meat consumption requires a withdrawal period of 60 days for cattle and 49 days for sheep.
