Intracin's I-TIN 1% Ivermectin Injection B.P. is a broad-spectrum endectocide formulated to treat and control internal and external parasites in livestock and animals. It acts against adult and fourth-stage larvae of nematodes, lice, mites, and ticks.

INDICATIONS

  • Cattle & Buffaloes: Gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, eyeworms, skin worms, warbles (Hypoderma spp.), sucking lice, and mange mites.
  • Swine: Gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, sucking lice, and mange mites (Psoroptes ovis, Sarcoptes scabiei).
  • Sheep & Goats: Gastrointestinal nematodes, lungworms, and ectoparasites.
  • Camels: Gastrointestinal roundworms and mange mites.
  • Dogs: Gastrointestinal roundworms, ticks, lice, and mange mites (including scabies).

ADMINISTRATION

  • Route: It is specifically for subcutaneous injection only (usually behind or in front of the shoulder).
  • Dosage: The general dose for cattle is 1 ml per 50 kg body weight (equivalent to 200 mcg Ivermectin per kg).
  • Contra-indications: Do not inject intravenously or intramuscularly. Do not use in lactating dairy cows or within 28 days of calving.
  • Withdrawal Period: Varies by species, often around 21–35 days before slaughter for meat.
