Virbac’s Feligen CRP/R is a modified-live vaccine for the active immunization of healthy cats and kittens against Feline Calicivirus, Feline Rhinotracheitis (Herpesvirus), and Feline Panleukopenia.
INDICATIONS
- Feline Calicivirosis (FCV): Reduces clinical signs of infection.
- Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis (FHV-1): Reduces clinical signs and viral excretion.
- Feline Panleukopenia (FPV): Prevents leucopenia and reduces clinical signs.
ADMINISTRATION
- Route: Subcutaneous injection (under the skin).
- Dosage: A single 1 mL dose is standard.
- Dosage Regimen:
- Primary Vaccination: Two doses, usually starting around 8–12 weeks of age, with a 3–4 week interval between injections.
- Booster: Re-vaccination is generally recommended one year after the primary course, followed by intervals of up to three years, though annual boosters are standard for certain components (like calicivirus).
- Targeted Diseases: Primarily protects against Feline Calicivirus, Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, and Feline Panleucopenia.
