Intracin SD-VET (Sulfadimidine Injection BP 33.3% from Intracin) is a broad-spectrum sulfonamide injectable indicated for the treatment of severe bacterial, protozoan, and respiratory infections in livestock.

INDICATIONS

• Cattle and Calves: Pneumonia, foot rot, calf diphtheria, actinobacillosis, colibacillosis, salmonellosis, pasteurellosis, enteritis, polyarthritis, and young’s septicaemia.
• Sheep and Goats: Coccidiosis, dysentery, lymphangitis, young’s septicaemia, and respiratory and enteric infections.
• Poultry and Pigs: Respiratory infections, enteritis, and coccidiosis.

ADMINISTRATION

• Route: Subcutaneous or slow intravenous injection.
• Cattle: Initial dose of 3-6 ml/10 kg, followed by 3 ml/10 kg for 2-5 days.
• Pigs: 50 mg/kg for 3-7 days.
• Poultry: 100 mg/kg for 3 days.
