Intracin IMOLY 20% LA (Long Acting) is a broad-spectrum, long-acting oxytetracycline injection (200 mg/mL) intended for the treatment of bacterial infections in cattle, sheep, and swine.
INDICATIONS
- Respiratory Infections: Treatment and control of pasteurellosis and pneumonia.
- Infectious Bovine Keratoconjunctivitis: Commonly known as Pink Eye or New Forest Disease, caused by Moraxella bovis.
- Foot Rot: Used for the treatment of foul-in-the-foot.
- Metritis and Mastitis: Acute or severe bacterial mastitis and metritis.
- Sheep Infections: Control of enzootic abortion and pneumonia, as well as aid in treating ovine keratoconjunctivitis.
- Swine Infections: Treatment of pneumonia caused by Pasteurella.
- General Infections: Can be used for navel/joint ill, urinary tract infections, and wound infections.
ADMINISTRATION
- Route: Intramuscular or subcutaneous injection.
- Dosage: Generally \(1\text{ ml}\) per \(10\text{ kg}\) body weight (20 mg/kg).
- Withdrawal Period: Do not use milk for human consumption during treatment, or for 7 days after the last treatment.
