Intracin INCEFT 4g injection is a broad-spectrum veterinary antibiotic indicated for the treatment of bacterial respiratory diseases, acute genital infections, and foot rot in livestock.

INDICATIONS

• Genital Infections (Bovine): Used for acute metritis, cervicitis, and retained placenta-related prolapses caused by Arcanobacterium pyogenes, Fusobacterium necrophorum, and Bacteroides species.
• Respiratory Diseases: Treats shipping fever and pneumonia in cattle, buffalo, sheep, and goats caused by Pasteurella species and Haemophilus somnus.
• Foot Rot (Pododermatitis): Indicated for acute interdigital necrobacillosis caused by Fusobacterium and Bacteroides in livestock.

ADMINISTRATION

• Cattle & Buffalo: Intramuscularly (IM) at a dose of 1.1 to 2.4 mg/kg body weight daily for 3 to 5 days. Safe for use in lactating dairy animals.
• Sheep & Goat: Administered IM at 1.1 to 2.2 mg/kg body weight daily for 3 to 5 days.
• Dogs: Administered subcutaneously (SC) at 2.2 mg/kg body weight once daily for 5 to 14 days.
• Horses & Camels: Administered IM at 2.2 to 4.4 mg/kg body weight for 3 to 5 days.
