INDICATIONS
- Bovine Respiratory Disease (BRD): Treatment of shipping fever, pneumonia, and respiratory infections associated with Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, and Histophilus somni.
- Acute Bovine Interdigital Necrobacillosis (Foot Rot): Treatment of pododermatitis caused by Fusobacterium necrophorum and Bacteroides melaninogenicus.
- Acute Post-partum (Puerperal) Metritis: Treatment of uterine infections within 10 days after calving associated with E. coli, Arcanobacterium pyogenes, and Fusobacterium necrophorum.
- Sheep & Goat Respiratory Diseases: Treatment of pneumonia associated with Mannheimia haemolytica.
- Swine Bacterial Infections: Treatment of swine bacterial pneumonia associated with Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Salmonella choleraesuis, and Streptococcus suis.
- Other Potential Uses: Treatment of urinary tract infections in dogs (E. coli, Proteus mirabilis) and respiratory infections in horses (Streptococcus zooepidemicus)
ADMINISTRATION
- Reconstitution: The 1g vial is typically reconstituted with 20 mL of sterile water for injection.
- Cattle, Sheep, Goats & Camels: Administered via intramuscular (IM) injection at a dose of 1.1 to 2.2 mg/kg body weight daily for 3 to 5 days.
- Dogs: Administered subcutaneously (SC) at 2.2 mg/kg body weight daily for 5 to 14 days.
