Intracin SD-VET injection (Sulfadimidine Sodium BP 33.3%) is a broad-spectrum antibiotic injection indicated for treating various bacterial infections in livestock and poultry. It is commonly used for respiratory infections, enteric diseases, and protozoan infections
INDICATIONS
- Respiratory Infections: Pneumonia, pasteurellosis, and shipping fever.
- Enteric & Gastrointestinal Infections: Colibacillosis, salmonellosis, enteritis, and dysentery.
- Protozoan Diseases: Coccidiosis in sheep, goats, cattle, calves, poultry, and pigs.
- Other Bacterial Infections: Foot rot, diphtheria in calves, actinobacillosis, streptococcal mastitis, lymphangitis, poly-arthritis, and young’s septicaemia.
ADMINISTRATION
Cattle, Calves, Sheep, Goats, Pigs, and Poultry.
- Administration: Subcutaneous or slow Intravenous (IV).
- Cattle/Sheep/Goats/Pigs: 3-6 ml per 10 kg of body weight on day one, followed by 3 ml per 10 kg on days 2-5.
- Poultry: 100 mg per 1 kg body weight for 3 days.
